news4's derek ward is at police headquarters in palmer park with more. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. there were no reported murders or shootings overnight, which is a good thing, particularly a good thing when you consider the way the weekend began. now this deadly spate of shootings started friday evening. three people shot in an apartment complex in adelphi. police responded to the report of gunfire. when they got there, they found three men suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. saturday, another shooting. this time it was indeed fatal. it happened in the lewis dale section near chillum in the 2000 block of woodbury street. police responded to another report of shots fired. they found 19-year-old lester flores quintonilla dead in the street. no motive or suspect. saturday evening, two women were shot in an apartment on terrace drive. one of the women was wounded in the leg, and the other died. sunday at 8:20 a.m., two more men were shot. one died, one suffered life threatening injuries. coming up, an update on the investigation into

news4's derrick ward is live at prince george's county police headquarters in palmer park. derek? >> reporter: a disturbing discovery and immediate arrest in a case that remains under investigation. now, a prince george's county police have arrested 22-year-old nathan cedrick rogers. he has been charged with first degree murder in the death of a woman found in the trunk of a car in the 7100 block of may son street in district heights last night at about 7:00. that's when police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle at that location. when they arrived there, they found 23-year-old jasmine michelle moss. police say she was pregnant, and that she had been stabbed. now, there's not much information at this point about what the initial call was that prompted police to go to that location, but when they got there, they found something immediately that heightened their suspicions. >> we do know that she was found in the vehicle. officers detected a chemical odor emanati from the vehicle. and determined that her -- there was a body in the vehicle. >> reporter: now, police say that t
