news 4's derek ward continues our team coverage. he's live at reagan national. >> reporter: good morning. take a look at the runway out here at reagan national. you can see planes are starting to taxi. a couple are indeed taking off. back here at the terminal, you're not really seeing the crowd we saw yesterday. that was at the height of the cancellations. i think people have gotten the word now. take a look at the cancellation board. things north, as there is no surprise about this. bangor, new york, lagaraguardia jfk. we're told some of those airports are open. again, there's nothing coming in and out. you're essentially there. even if you got to the airport, roads in those areas are closed or virtually impassable. it's going to be a challenge for a lot of folks traveling north. they've tried to make other plans. we hear that amtrak is running some trains between here and new york. if you're trying to go beyond that, you're still going to run into trouble. you might want to truck with your carrier, obviously, if you are going to t
