derek ward live at the school. what happens going on? >> reporter: they're in the midst of an investigation, led by prince georges county police and school officials, after this incident. we are have learned two students taken to the hospital. one of the thing police are looking at, surveillance video inside the school. take a look cell phone video shot at 7:40 this morning. we're told that this fight might have started in the stairway and escalated into a hallway. we are told initially two students are involved could be more that will be borne out by the investigation. more details from a spokesperson from the prince georges county police department and a student. >> there was a fight between two students. during the fight, one of the students produced a knife and stabbed the other, the victim. the victim's injuries do not appear to be life threatening. the suspect is in custody. >> everybody was started going crazy in the hallways because like in the morning, my teacher went out the doorway, because everybody's going crazy, and she's l

that's where news4's derrick ward is live now. and derek a raccoon attacked a 75-year-old woman today. >> reporter: you can take a look and see behind me the trail is closed because of the attack that occurred this morning. take a look, about 9:30 when a 75-year-old woman was on the trail spotted a raccoon, stopped to take a picture the raccoon turned around and charged her. she got severe bites to her hands, arms and legs. that animal got away. helps, they closed the trail while they try to find it. this weekend, on sunday, a man informs the king's farm area in his garden when the raccoon came up on behind him and attacked him h he got a serious bite. it was determined to be rabid and put down. there is a rabies alert because a raccoon got into it with a couple of dogs in the 100 block of east jefferson street. that raccoon was found to be rabid. he was put down as well. the dogs are being treated. why are we seeing so many this time of year? we will hear that from a member of animalhere. >> the babies are coming out. the parents are out t

live in northeast d.c., derrick ward news4. >> thanks, derek. >>> darcy spencer is live in bethesda with breaking news on the scene of a pretty big sinkhole that swallowed a car. darcy? >> reporter: pat, that's right. it is amazing that no one was hurt here. take a look at the scene. it is very active right now. you can see this black pickup truck swallowed up by this sinkhole. you look down there, there was a water main break, an eight-inch pipe apparently burst and began to flood the street and this truck driver was driving through here and got swallowed up in the sinkhole. you can see a second vehicle here a honda suv, is also stuck here in the sinkhole. wssc is here on the scene, again saying that this all started with a water main break here on sleaford road in bethesda. it sounds like the gravedriver of the pickup truck was able to get out of the truck safely but was, in fact, driving the car at the time that this happened. so a tow truck is here on the scene just rolled up a few minutes ago. and it looks like this is going to be kind of a tricky thing to do here. he has been looki
