news 4's derrick ward is live in the district where people are buying up their lottery tickets. a lot of people hoping they are going to get lucky there. what's the word? >> reporter: indeed they are. we are at 40th and wisconsin. this place has a reputation not necessarily for the big winning, but they do get winners from time to time. so a lot of folks have shown up. we have seen waves from people coming and going this morning. i talked to the merchants here and they said it was busier last night than it has been this morning. they are seeing a bit more traffic than they do for a saturday morning. we talked to some of the the early birds ab what they would do with the winnings and how they pick their numbers. >> i don't usually play, but i went to a chinese restaurant last night and got a fortune cookie. then i played my birthday and just totally random, never do this. but before i started my saturday chores, i thought i might as well figure out if i can do this and get somebody else to clean the house next week. >> what are you going to do if you win? >> i'm going to disappea
