in derry, things moving smoothly. some areas, you might have had melting on the roadways. there could be some re-freezing in a few areas now that temperatures are starting to go back down below freezing. today, temperatures were above freezing. most of us got into the mid and upper 30' s. that was above the average which is 32 for this time in january. we reached 37 in concord. nashua in the low to mid 30' s. even at the seacoast, temperatures were in the mid to upper 30' s. relatively comfortable with a winter jacket with light winds and the sunshine. it was nice to be outdoors today. here we are now. 35 in manchester. 34 in nashua. 30 even up north in whitefield and berlin. we have a bitterly cold arctic blast of air on the way. this will be a real shock to the system for a lot of us because it has not been that cold. december was mild. we started january, even today and tomorrow, temperatures above the average. look at how the temperatures fall monday and tuesday. this is going to be cold. on top of temperatures in the 20' s, the winds are going to be howling on monday.
