credit for things he doesn't deser. on this he does, it's his language, his messaging.s, and i refer to ronald reagan as an example, george w. bush, and donald trump, the economy is the sentiment, improved as the president's talked about why america was number one, why america was going to reassert itself. the presidents who talked down the economy, particularly jimmy carter and barack obama, the markets did not perform as well for them. part of it is do you feel better, could you -- >> neil: eventually the markets performed well for barack obama. the 2009 numbers were prior to the big surge in the market. he doesn't deserve the credit for that, like i think donald trump isn't the exclusive beneficiary of this. what does a president have to do to get it going? >> give people faith in the future, in a sense that things are going to move in a positive light. that is donald trump's language. we tend to focus on russia, we tend to focus on all of the negativity, insults, all of that. the average voter is focusing on where the country is headed, and will they benefit from it
