fox5's melanie alnwick live in aspen hill with the det details. reporter: hey, good morning, guys. so, we have a 50-year-old daughter, 73-year-old mother. the daughter is from baltimore and she picked her mother up from her assisted living facility, this home that is behind me here on karen cross terrace in silver spring. that was saturday and the two of them were supposed to attend a family function together which they did but arlene grant never returned her mother, marie grant back to her home. that's what's caused so much concern. you can see their pictures right here. now, marie grant has alzheimer's. she can't talk. she uses a wheelchair and needs medication. family members told police that arlene did text them but she wouldn't tell them where she or her mother was. montgomery county police believe arlene may be driving a silver 2016 nissan quest with maryland tags 6cf5492. police say they concerned for the emotional and physical well being of both of these women so they're asking everyone to keep a lookout for them and also for that vehicle.
