our devin fehely is live at sunrise middle school in san jose. devin, what happened there? >> reporter: yeah, most of the students and the parents we tried to talk to outside the school this afternoon. they were a bit wary to talk to us on camera about what happened on campus earlier today, which was a stabbing right in the middle of the seventh grade classroom. but privately they expressed alarm and concern, frustration and anger, and deep concern for theirldn's safety and well being. some students were visibly upset as they emerged from class after a 15-year-old student was stabbed multiple times on campus. >> and sadly there was a very unfortunate situation in our school today. two students had to dispute two seventh graders. one stabbed the other right inside the classroom. >> reporter: police say the victim was rushed to the hospital to be treated for what is being described as non-life threatening injuries. students say the stabbing does make them question the school security plan. >> and we are going to feel a little worried, i guess. >> reporter: isaac mendoza said
