devon kraemer waived her preliminary hearing today. she was charged last month with aggravated battery with the use of a dangerous weapons. it stems from an incident in march-- when she helped take an unruly passenger off a bus. a criminal complaint says when kraemer couldn't get control of the passenger's arm, she shot him in the back. he was injured, but survived. has surpassed it's own early-voting record... set back in 2012. this year -- more votes are still expected to come in. ted perry is in the newsroom to explain. as of yesterday -- more than 38- thousand in-person absentee votes have been cast.... already 2-thousand more than the last presidential election. that number is likely to still go up... as saturday is the last day to early vote in the city. city officials to reach close to 50- thousand. we're told: that could represent one in five voters citywide. as for why we're seeing higher totals --- mayor tom barrett says it's because of expanded voting hours -- and added early-voting sites. barrett says: "we've always felt th
