an exhibition entirely devoted to the artist. there are about half of the known works in this exhibition and the director of the morris house remarked that she thought for herself that maybe this exhibition won't be popular because all of his tend to be the same, you have a stone slab and fruit and it was definitely popular and shows the demand of this artist skill and his paintings or so beautiful even though they are spare and he's so mysterious. an artist does not need to be -- a highlight of an exhibition. a competition, my favorite painting in the exhibition. this is particularly exciting since it is considered an icon of dutch 17th century paintings. created in 1654 this competition is 1 of 12 paintings which survived. he studied in rembrandt studio long with his brother. it's represent in his own collection this painting was off view and now has returned to our conservation studio. tragically, painter of the gold finch died in his early 30s. his studio was a gun powder magazine. an explosion occurred and it completely dest

done with this project and we expect the remaining half to be done in the next few years and we're devoting our resources to get that accomplished. another change city wide is changing the way the cross walks are marked. the two parallel lines are what is done at most locations now but we're shifting to the continental pattern and the school crossings which are the yellow crosswalks and that pattern will be done at all locations and one of the easiest way to get this accomplished as paving projects come along we will shift to the continental pattern. uncontrolled crossings of particular area of concern. this is area where the pedestrian didn't have the benefit of the sign or construction and this indicates best practices should be at uncontrolled crosswalk. a median so people only have to worry about crossing one direction at the time. the continental walk and highlights this and these yield ones which the government recommended and for vehicles from stopping right up against the crosswalk and if they go further back it will prevent the multiple threat collision and one vehicle stops and an

and i watched this unbelievable devotion. people prostrating themselves in front of a statue, insisting that those of us who are not north korean, who were visitors, act very respectfully around there. and i've watched all those television programs and seen some of the performances. what i can say is that it's almost like a nation that has been infantalized. she said it very clearly, that defector, that from birth you're fed this diet of the cult personality. in north korea, the kims are gods. they're not just maybe or pretending, they are considered gods. the day of the son, kim song un's birthday is the most important day of the year. and this is what they're fed all the time. unless you're in a prison camp and you know what the reality is, or you're the elite and have access to outside, by and large mosht of the people are cut off and they're told that the rest of the world is against them, and they're brought up in this way. you know what, i remember going to china, having the opportunity to visit china in the 1970s, 1978
