dewpoint 77. it's a little bit cooler down there. 82 degrees, winds are calm, water temperature, 72. that's the place to be. note they have that canopy up, they are shading themselves from the sun good idea because the sun will be beating down on you today. not too much in the way of cloud cover, just a few high, thin clouds that's about it. 81 in millville. trenton, 80. allentown, 77. with a feels like temperature of 79. 87 that's the heat index for philadelphia. same thing for wilmington and millville. dover closing in on 90 and we're at 9:43 a.m. you get the idea it's going to be a stifling afternoon. showers and thunderstorms, we won't see much of that. the cold front is to the west, it will start to collapse as we get into tomorrow morning and tomorrow afternoon. it is kind of fizzling out. it's getting washed out. we wait for a secondary front to pick this dieing front up, pushing it to the south putting and end to the heat and humidity. that disurnlts happen until tuesday -- doesn't happen

they're not like yesterday and the dewpoints aren't as high either.ow 100 degrees across much of the area including the heart of the delaware valley, wilmington allentown and reading. but to the south even though there is that sea breeze, that's pulling in very humid air, so that is why it feels more uncomfortable at the shore despite that the air temperature is lower. how it's feeling, those dewpoints are above 70 degrees across much of the area, so it's still rather oppressive outside but as we look at future tracker went go into tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, notice the dewpoints are dropping into the lower and the middle 60's especially from philadelphia to the north and west. that's some of that drier air starting to filter in. still very tropical at the shore tomorrow afternoon and then by wednesday at 2 o'clock, everyone's dipping back into the 50's so that is a breath of fresh air with canadian high pressure coming in for the middle of the week. there is a cold front though, to the north and west. not much in the way of activity with it but
