the dewpoint is the number we're showing a lot lately. when you see the dewpoint close to 70 in our area it almost always means june, july, or august. summer season. but we have seen so much moisture come in and so much reasons we've had so much fog, and also why we're seeing temperatures averaging ten above normal. tomorrow morning we get the air moving around a little bit, and keeping fog from settling down in many areas, so i think we'll have patchy fog, but no wide- spread dense fog i don't think, but we will have to watch the chance of a few showers, and the way tomorrow playing out i still think we see quite a bit of sunshine mixed with clouds and a couple of isolated showers. not many. anything that does develop, probably later in the afternoon or evening. not much, but notice, overnight tonight tomorrow into saturday morning, that's when things begin to change. the next piece of energy, and in my mind it's the strongest, so saturday afternoon and saturday night that's when our rain chances will be about 60, maybe even 70 percent,

there you can see the mix 11.5 tower. 61 is the current temperature, dewpoint 63. lots of moisture in the atmosphere and foggy conditions near the virginia line. temperatures in the 50s from south hill, mid-60s southern pines, raleigh, rocky mount, wilson, clinton, everybody else fairly mild. visibility at a quarter of a mile in roxboro, everybody else either seem low clouds or maybe a mid-level cloud deck at the moment. the rain rolled through overnight, still dealing with cloud cover. this is our next system that rolls through to bring us a chance of showers and storms later this afternoon and evening. once we get past lunchtime the clouds will begin to thin out. you can see at 1:00 the sunshine peeking through the clouds but after that a couple of pop-up showers appear across the area, later in the evening and overnight we have a round through with a similar risk to yesterday. once those move out, there is 7:00 a.m. tuesday, gradual clearing with sunshine through the afternoon. tuesday looks beautiful with temperatures warming up nicely. for the storms this even
