kate howard from dhr. as director correctly pointed out, our current applicant tracking system does allow for the kind of communication that you are describing, which allows for candidates to hear when they apply about how long-what the timeline is. we have provided guidance to departments to give that information to candidates and set up those automated notifications, and i think that is happening much more broadly then it ever happened before. we can continue to work with departments, each of which has their own hiring authority to follow the new guidelines we set, which is about communicating with candidates, bringing more transparency to the process so people know you applied for a job, the exam will be scheduled in a week, a month, two months and how long it takes to hear back once you participated in the exam. the other thing i highlight is that our work to bring online on-demands into our mix of tools allows for candidates to apply for a job, be evaluated in terms whether they meet the minimum quali
