of course we all talk about diana because i like to share my memoryies with diana of all those years because it's a privilege to do that, but not to do this and leave her alone. martha: you know, a couple of thoughts on this cover. i think that tina brown is trying to turn around newsweek magazine, for one thing, and she has said that she feels in the past, the magazine really fell off its mark by not having great photography that draws people on the cover, tina brown was well known for a focus on photography, so this is an interesting picture, she accomplished getting everybody to talk about it for sure, and it does sort of give you an interesting window. i think in many ways, i think princess diana would have embraced all the sort of social networking things and twittering about her human rights causes across the globe and using her iphone and being part of that whole humanitarian scene. i think it's probably spot on. gregg: i think she would have used it to help her causes, such as aids in africa and other human rights causes. but i actually think it's pretty interesting, whether

i think that, you know, diana ross was not billie holiday, but then again, i don't think even diana ross claim. but the misrepresentation of the facts of strange fruit, i think, are really unforgivable. what happened in the movie-- and i'm sure that there are people out there who remember the scene in the movie-- she's on a bus, touring in the south sometime in the 1930s with her band, and she gets off the bus to relieve herself. and she walks over a hill, and there's this procession, this sort of procession of bedraggled-looking, poor african americans. i think there's a horse and cart or something, and it's clear that they're coming from a lynching. i think she goes over the hill, and she may even see the evidence of a lynching. and then you hear the strains of strange fruit sounding in the background, and she gets this kind of mesmerized look on her face as if lyrics are taking shape in her mind. and the clear implication is that she's thinking of strange fruit and composing it at that very moment, none of which was true. that's the first sin in the movie. the second sin is that they

our diana magna is near utoya island. diana, how could one carry out this attack and plan both events? are police still sticking to the theory that one man carried out both of the an attacks? >> reporter: they are not ruling out the possibility, t.j., that he could have others helping him. he is the only suspect in custody. he will be charged for the shootings on utoya and the bombing at the capital. the huge explosion in the center of oslo an at the time when people were leaving for the weekend. a huge path there gave him a decoy to come on to the island dressed as a police officer with heavy guns on him. saying that he wanted to come and do a security check on the island. that is how he managed to get the boat over without arousing suspicion. when he landed on the island, he fired. as we know from the eyewitness testimony as we just heard. he was shooting for a long time. he was on the island for longer than an hour before police got to him in that time shooting for most of it. the eyewitness said there was a lull of 15

cnn's diana magnay is there. diana, is it possible we could see this death toll continue to rise? reporter: it is possible. police and the red cross are still continuing their search around the island of utoya, in the waters, because many people, t.j., were shot as they were trying to swim out of the gunman's grip, and he shot at them in the water. we've been talking to eyewitnesss who have gathered here at this hotel waiting for parents to collect them, waiting for friends who never turned up. and they've had some amazing stories. one of them, for example, escaping in a boat, two boats managed to escape from the island, but they all had to lie completely flat so that the gunman couldn't reach them, he continued to fire at them. another told us how he had to swim, let's just listen to that story. >> i started swimming on to the fjords and then i got cramps because i had been in the water so long, so some of the locals saved my life. >> so you kind of hid in the water? >> yes. it was the only place to hide. because all the other places were full of people. >> how many people have y

we're joined by cnn's diana magnay out of oslo. diana? >> reporter: a little earlier, police shut down oslo's central train station. apparently looking at a suspect package there. it gives you a sense of how on edge this country s. five days after the massacre, we know there are undercover armed policemen on patrol. we also know that breivek amassed six tons of fertilizer, according to his manifesto. the police are suggesting to us that there is a certain amount of that fertilizer which is not accounted for in the explosives found on the island or the bomb here in oslo. they say it is possible that that missing amount of fertilizer could be enough to produce a bomb. so definitely a very, very significant part of their investigation. now, breivek's lawyer yesterday gave some insight into his client's mental state saying this whole case does suggest that he is insane, that breivek himself was surprised that he was able to get away with as much as he did on the island, that police hadn't stopped him any earlier, and he was taking some sort o
