singers bruce springsteen and diana ross plus basketball great kareem abdul-jabbar. this year, political candidates across the country spent months and millions of dollars to campaign for office. but in bremer county, the spent almost nothing. his campaign lasted all of 10 hours. jesse kielman didn't start campaigning until election day. the wartburg college senior says he was interested in the position, but didn't really consider it until his mom called and told him she wrote him in. so, kielman decided to ask his friends to do the same.
