i'm dick brennan. maurice and kristine are off today. we begin this half-hour with breaking news. a small plane crashed in cresskill new jersey just a short time ago. rescue crews freed a person from the wreckage and took it to an ambulance. more now on the crash. joe biermann is live over the scene in chopper 2. >> reporter: we have some information for you. the united states coast guard does confirm this aircraft, which is a 1978 cessna 172, was occupied by two people associated with the coast guard auxilliary reserve like a volunteer organization. they were coming south in the hudson river. we are up on laguardia channel. we heard them call laguardia airport asked for priority handling. initially he said the pilot said he had a roughen gin then moments later he radio laguardia and said he had a complete engine failure and wanted priority clearance to teterboro airport never made teterboro, landed here at the cresskill swim club right by the soccer field. two people on board as you saw earlier. we saw one. them being taken out into the ambulance. the ntsb and the faa all the off
