's >> reporter: your thoughts? >> i agree. i think he has fallen too far behind to recover. absent a major gaffe by the clinton campaign, and i also think he's just himself and his campaign by attacking these women. he ought to find some issue to focus on so that he can get the media off of the story, but he's just basically allowing everybody to swirl around this story and continue. >> reporter: it's interesting because you had these e-mails that are being released every day by wikileaks. and he is barely talking about those. you know? these co

cbs4 analyst republican dick wadhams, democrat penfield tate as always. let's start with the final debate. penfield? >> i don't think so. one thing i would say for debate was the most substantive on policy. and i think he got a couple opportunities to articulate his position. but when it's all said and done , he needed a grand slam and he didn't come close to getting it. so hillary supporters are feeling good. donald supporters are probably feeling he didn't do enough. >> she was leading in the polls heading into this. and he really needed a grand slam at this point. but it did take up some policy side. second amendment, abortion. >> what's sad is that we got a glimpse of what could have been in this presidential race. it could have been a great debate and a debate that would have put hillary back on her haunches. effect is that if we could have had an hour and half of donald trump rather than just a half- hour, he would have done much better but penfield is right. he needed a grand slam and he outcome. >> reporter: so trump claims the system is rigged ag
