it was a digital revolution. so i went to the 1930s having set it up with ada lovelace and an amazing character you are going to learn a lot more about next week because i wanted to take him out of the shadows of history the same as alan turing. i'd worked hard to take them out of the shadows of history displaying him in a movie. we will do it a thousand times table -- but i'll be able to do and do what he called the imitation game. what alan turing did was threefold. first of all he loved history. he understand to build on ada lovelace because he has to solve complicated math problem. i won't burden you with a problem except it's somewhat related to the theory and how you figure out whether things are provable. he doesn't mechanical process to do so. he comes up with the concept of machine that can compute any logical sequence. he calls it a logical computing machine and basically universal. he uses it to solve a math problem or frankly the math problem except for a few math geeks is not the more important part.

chris cato is joining us in the digital operations center. tell us more, chris. >> vai, apparently we have a shocking mass murder at the offices of a magazine in central paris. i'm just grabbing these wire reports just now to bring you this news as the information continues to roll in. but cnbc just confirmed ten people shot and killed. ten deaths confirmed at the central paris office of the charlie headbow satirical newspaper. that magazine in the past has been fire-bombed after printing comments and cartoons about the prophet muhammad. it is the site of this attack. here's what we know at this point. two masked gunmen were seen entering the building with assault rifles. witnesses reported hearing multiple shots and people were seen running out of the building. now, a prosecutor in paris is confirming at least ten people killed, several wounded. and i'm just going through these reports from nbc news here citing some of the things that were seen near this scene here in paris. a lot of people sustained gunshot injuries. now we've just learned

we're in single digits.hiladelphia trenton, toms river, atlantic city and even in dover, delaware. by late morning we're still feeling like we're in the teens. it's not going to warm up a whole lot during the day tomorrow. there's that big storm. it is still pounding new england. you can see how it's lingered up there. track about 100 miles farther east than we thought. and also developed later. and the combination of those things kept the heaviest of the snow from new york city up towards new england. we now have dry conditions. we're starting to see a little clearing. tomorrow will be dry and then the next system starts to come in. that is thursday. later on during the day and into the evening, this is with a front, i wouldn't call it a storm, you can see how quickly it moves through. certainly a threat of some snow. then on friday, the winds are howling behind this thing. and it is really cold as we get to friday night and into saturday. it's going to be some of the coldest weather we've seen this winter.
