dillon beach on the north bay coach over 4" of rain. mount tam in the north bay over 6" of rain there. oakland just got an update, 2.5", san jose over an inch of rain. then let's take a look at more totals. santa cruz feeding into reservoirs at or near capacity, for the most part 6", morgan hill 2", cupertino 2", same in san ramon. redwood city 1.5". looking at storm totals in richmond, over 5". santa rosa close to 5". napa, almost 4" of rain there. we'll add more rain to that as we see rain off and on today. all the cold front moving through, the two cold front enhance thunderstorms, cells moving through and produce thunderstorms that could potentially produce heavy rain, gusty winds and maybe even small hail. once that colder air arrives, we'll start to see snow levels dropping. we could see snow for some of our north bay mountains as well as mount hamilton heading into friday morning and continuing to the afternoon. additional rainfall totals on top of rain we've already measured. we could see another inch of rain or so, maybe 2" far

another 48 hour totals include dillon beach and santa rosa. san francisco, 3.78. napa three and a quarter. sfo, concord and oakland had about 2 and san jose said one. you can find a lot more than that. it was windy last night. 49 miles an hour last night. there were some thunderstorm cells that went through 1:30 this morning. and that triggered some of the activity at 1:30 in the morning. we got a little break right now. that is beginning to swing in. so that will start to pick up the rain. that has pretty good lightning strikes. there is a little lull inching in already heading right towards the southern marine coast and the peninsula and south san francisco. that will give us more moderate to heavy rain again coming in. so we're not done by any close area. we have a ways to go here. and now the cold air is going to come in. and look at the top of the screens and the left of the storm tracker. it starts to arrive on friday. but the snow levels will probably get down to 2500 feet again. and more rain into sunday. and it does look like we'll get a break. these high

we are in it right now from windsor, santa rosa, rohnert park, santa rosa, dillon beach across san rafael and across berkeley into the east bay and emeryville. it is in oakland, alameda, san leandro and across the bay bridge. you solve the bay bridge camera and across the golden gate and san francisco, pouring even in the sunset district area. on the peninsula through san francisco, san mateo, east palo alto, hayward and livermore all getting a drenching. this is even across the south bay into san jose. the storm watch scale is high, 7 and 8 from the rain, wind and flooding. the morning commute is a mess because of all of these factors. the flash flood watches in effect for most of the bay area due to the rain with heavy rain, roads, highways and small streams could flood and we have a potential for landslides, debris flows and river flooding. there is a high wind warning and wind advisory in effect with the wind gusting up to 60 miles an hour. we will time this out on the future cast for the rain and wind coming up. >>> let's check in with gianna for a look at the traffic with ponding an

in venado, a mountain peak in the north bay had nearly 12" of rain, ukiah 3.5, dillon beach along the coast and north bay 3.75, mount tam near sausalito may be draining into the area over 6" of rain, oakland over 2" and san jose being rain shadowed, boult 0.75". we look at more totals, santa cruz mountains 5.5" of rain. that's causing some areas downstream in the south bay to flood. looking at morgan hill, an inch and a half. cupertino 2" with san ramon measuring 2, almost 2.25, redwood city 1.25". san francisco 3" of rain. really significant for san francisco with 50 miles per hour gusts. in richmond just across the bay, look at that, over 5" of rain while concord has had over 1.5", same in brendwood. san anselmo over 7.75" of rain, napa, 3.75, santa rosa 4.7". we're not done. we have several more hours to get through as we're going to see the potential of more flooding as well as more issues because of all of this rain. i'll continue to track that with another update coming up in a few minutes. >> very concerning with more rain on its way. thank you very much, kari. 5:08. in the mea
