i'm dion lim. >> i'm eric thomas. that video we showed you was taken before 11:00 this morning.oke down and then the chp shows up. >> news reporter kate larson joins us live from san francisco where she spoke with the chp and has more information on what happened and the hunt for the drivers who took part. kate? >> reporter: dion, eric, that's right, there was one arrest this morning. there was also a lot of traffic backed up for miles after a group of cars stopped traffic on the upper deck of the bay bridge coming into the city. let's take a look at that video. so this cell phone video was taken by a driver that saw the side show and they gave it to the chp. you can see those three white cars driving around the westbound lanes in circles down donuts around 10:45 this morning. the chp says the white convertible mustang either got in a crash during the side show or somehow got disabled, when the officers arrived, the driver was still there and was arrested. now, in the video, if you look up front you can see a few people standing by taking cell phone video of the cars and of the

. >> i'm dion lim in for kristen sze.t attorney. >> nancy o'malley is asking for a trial in the ghost ship case for the two men charged. katie utehs is live in oakland. katie? >> reporter: eric, today's news follow's last week's shakeup in the courthouse when the judge dismissed a previously brokered plea deal involving defendants derick almena and max harris. now it appears that the da and at least harris's defense attorney are welcoming a trial. district attorney nancy o'malley is making her own plea to the court on behalf of the victims of the deadly ghost ship fire. the letter, seen here, has been published by our partners at the east bay times. o'malley writes, the people stand ready to try this case against both defendants. >> what's unusual here is first the da was willing to make a deal, and now the da is not. >> o'malley's change of course follows the presiding judge's. last week he dismissed a brokered plea deal for the defendants. almena and harris admitted to their involvement in the fire that killed 36 people
