rubenstein: another acquisition you made was directv. is that $49.5 billion for that in some people would say that's a melting ice cube. subscribers are going down in that satellite tv business. why did you spend that much money question mark did you realize it would go down in terms of subscriber usage? we had theson: when deal approved by the board, we put a business case in front of them and showed them the business that was in decline. butirst started out with you put it with our business, it will generate a huge amount of cost savings. the numbers were significant. it was like $2.5 billion per year and cost savings by putting it on our business. you put this business with hours and it generates well over $4 billion per year in cash flow. it allowed us to turn around and reinvest into a whole new tv platform on top of streaming. it's a platform that's doing quite well. we also took that money, the $4 billion, and invested aggressively since that time in deploying fiber. it's been the largest fiber deployment project in the last five
