what's next for school district? superintendent pat skorkowsky will lay out his plan for the new year with this state-of-the- district address today. fox5's shannon moore is live outside cimarron high school with what we can expect this speech is an opportunity for the district to update the community on how they're doing. this year's theme.. leaping forward. superintendent skorkowsky plans to highlight the district's growth and accomplishments while adding what he calls "a personal touch" this year -- inviting guests on stage with him to share their experiences with the district's programs. we're going to have students there as part of the read by 3rd grade initiative. we're going to have parents and principals there.. we're going to have students there who have graduated to talk about how we help them get to the next level. from being career and college ready to closing the achievement gaps. skorkowsky tells us his goal is to provide schools and teachers with resources they need the be sucessful. of course funding
