financials fared and what could a repeal or partial repeal of dodd-frank mean for their balance sheets? matt: i'm taking a look at futures. right after yesterday, when we saw losses across the board, we are seeing indications of a positive open. the ftse in the dax indicated to open up 0.3%. the cac about 0.5%. looks like we could have a reversal of yesterday's trade. i think there are probably more exciting assets to watch than equities. guy: i think there's a few things to pay attention to. one is the dollar. a week week for the dollar. this morning, the swiss franc is trading higher. kiwi is trading higher. euro is trading higher. we are in the mid-sixes now. that dollars story continues to be front and center. out of't get the news the trump press conference that some had hoped for to keep that reflationary trade on the road. then we get janet yellen. what is going on with the u.s. economy? no clear obstacles at this point in time. so the dollar absolutely front and center, impacting commodity markets. equities negative yesterday. a positive start could the on the cards today. here
