don knapp with more on the attack that landed her back in the hospital with a concussion. >> growing up, that's what we watched all the time. we grew up loving the canucks. >> reporter: 16-year-old canucks hockey fan maggie herger took a hit at the sharks canucks hockey game a two- handed smack to the back of her head that sent her to the hospital with concussion. she blames a drunken sharks fan a woman. >> second period the second goal, everybody jumped up and then the hands came down hitting me on the back of my head. it was very blurry and confused and dizzy. my head went forward and i -- my sister noticed and the lady beside her noticed and then my sister went to go and get the usher. >> reporter: herger had surgery for a brain tumor it 2008. canucks players visited her in the canadian hospital back then. >> i had surgery in summer 2008 and radiation and the tumor is still there smaller but stable. >> reporter: the mother says she knows her daughters are respectful fans. >> i think what's bothering our family as a whole is the fact that the lady who hit maggie has not acknowledge

don knapp reports a little girl's quick thinking alerted the fire department. >> it was about 11:00 a.m. when people heard sirens and watch fire spread rapidly through this apartment complex. this home video shows smoke billowing from the shore point. seven-year-old natalie johnson, daughter of the building manager took charge. >> me and my mom heard a fire alarm and she told me -- she gave me her phone and she told me to run downstairs into the office. so i ran down in the office and then when i was running down in the office, i saw a bunch of smoke, so i decided to call 911. because it seemed like it was a fire. >> at least ten engines and dozens of firefighters responded. there were two rescues of residents, according to division chief, darren olsen. >> we had six units occupied and six families are displaced. >> brother and sister ran out of their building. >> we heard people running down the halls and we grabbed our pets and came outside. there was a lot of smoke in the exitway. we tried to walk out. we were able to get down and saw the fire on the other side of the building. >> ju

[applause] >> good afternoon. this is a project that was and theyback in 2004 t had care packages sent over to iraq. not every soldier gets a care package from family. brian, serving in iraq, asked his family to adopt their unit and they did. then other units said, "look at the stuff that they get. they get amazing stuff. they must be getting that from wal-mart." that is how it started. every christmas, they send christmas stockings to as many soldiers that are serving and i think it is up to, right now, -- the highest amount we have ever sent out. i just want to let you know that what they do is 100% of what they collect and goes 100% to our service men and women. if there are leftovers from serving, they send to walter reed or other hospitals that are taking care of our wounded soldiers. thank you.
