he delivered a statement to our own don lemon suggesting people -- he was just overly emotional. he didn't mean to instigate any violence or anything. do you believe police should still investigate him or are you over that part of the story now? >> well, i believe that we have a particularly good legal and judicial system. and i think it works. and i think the people who have all the facts and who have the knowledge and experience in dealing with these kinds of things will do the right thing. they will take into consideration all the factors. and i'm pretty certain that they will do the right thing. we have to at some point get to a point where we actually trust the system or we're just going to have chaos all the time. >> was justice served in the michael brown death? >> i guess it depends on how you're looking at it. obviously we never like to see death. add a pediatric neurosurgeon, i saw a lot of death, particularly in young people, prematurely and know what havoc it wreaked upon those families. so, no, we don't ever like to see that happen. but we also have to understand tha

i want to start with don lemon. you talked to louis head. what did he tell you? >> obviously he's concerned about what happened, concerned about possibly thinking he started riots and he released a statement. i'll tell you what more he said to me on the phone but let's read the first. he said "something came over me and as i watched and listen to my wife react to the gut wrenching news the cop who killed her son wouldn't be charged with the crime. my emotions got the best of me, this was my family. i was so angry and full of raw emotions and so many others were and granted i screamed out words that i should haven't screamed in the heat of the moment. i was wrong and i humbly apologize to all those who read my pain and anger as a true desire for what i want for my community. it wasn't. but the place blame solely on me for the conditions of our community and country after the grand jury decision goes way too far and is as wrong as the decision itself. to declare the state of emergency and to send a message of war and not peace before a grand jury decision was annou
