pam cook is in the studio to tell us what's next for donald sterling. >> yeah, banned for life. nba commissioner handed down the harshest penalty possible against the owner of the clippers. a lifetime ban for donald sterling means he can never attend a game or even a practice of any team in the nba. the commissioner also hit him with a fine of $2.5 million. now usa today's sports writer says the nba has three days to provide sterling a written copy of the charms. sterling has five days to reply. he says if sterling does not reply in five days. the league's constitution deems that an admission of the charges. now, the nba commissioner is also calling on team owners to force sterling to sell the clippers. it's not clear when the vote will take place. here's where it stands. it would take a three quarters vote to force that sale. so far, not a single nba owner is coming out in support of sterling. if sterling does sell, the team is valued at least between $500 and $700 million. that means sterling could stand to make quite a profit. he bought the team for $12 million in 1981. if it
