as of now even according to tom donlan this morning, the national security advisor to the president there is no evidence that at the highest level the generals and the president of pakistan knew this, there's no evidence at this moment but there are very serious questions and it is extraordinarily hard to believe that he could have survived there for five years or more in a major population center without some kind of support system and knowledge. >> schieffer: what do we do about that? i mean is it time re-evaluate aid to pakistan? where do we go from here on that? >> i think this is a time of enormous opportunity. it's opportunity for our relationship in pakistan and an opportunity for our policies in afghanistan. obviously they are very, very lame. you have to understand that for a period of time our interests in pakistan have not converged. the pakistanis have had a different set of interests about india, a different set of interests about what kind of afghanistan they want to see. they're apprehensive about a 350,000 person army being built up in afghanistan on their border. they hav

statement from the press secretary on the meeting that the president's national security adviser, tom donlanises the meeting. the interesting phrase, though, during the meeting -- i will read it specifically, mr. donelan stated the united states views the tmc that -- transitional national council, opposition, as a legitimate and credible -- of the libyan people. that stops short of formally recognizing the opposition as the legitimate government of libya. that's what -- mr. gibril told us he wanted to get from the obama administration, formal recognition of the opposition as france, italy, qatar and other countries have done. he says jordan is about to do it as well. didn't get that but apparently got enough that they issued this statement saying it was a good meeting. we will see what follows from it as well. also, just revealed -- helmet cam video of the raid on bin laden. getting new information from our sources. we will share it with you. plus, all the leaks about the raid. there is concern they may be putting lives of navy s.e.a.l.s and their families at risk. >> executive branch, legis

recent statements by administration officials, including national security advisor donlan have given rise for concern. to do this without congress being involved, whether the senate or the house, i don't think it's a good idea. another limitation is to preclude premature cuts to the stockpile. once again this is something that comments have been made that cause concern. so we -- based on reports and testimony, if we were to cut our nondeployed hedge stockpile before the modernization was done, -- excuse me -- should not be done until we have new facilities that are up and running, quote, unquote. and these are new plutonium and uranium facilities. according to the nnsa, these are needed to meet the cry -- criteria for the administration's own nuclear posture review. so the second part of this amendment would prohibit cuts to the nondeployed hedge stockpile until the two important facilities are indeed up and running, fully operational. that may not take take -- that y not be done until 2023 or 2024, but the seriousness of this require that is we remain vigilant to make sure that thes
