that is almost to donner summit. snowbanks sloping high. let's go to chief meteorologist paul deanno. blowing snow can be blinding when you're trying to drive. >> in the walls of snow are getting 15, 20, 25 feet high. i will show you snowfall totals. will show you what is going on right now on kpix 5 doppler. vacaville, to the west of interstate 80, nampa, most of that, some of their field getting heavy rainfall. look at the rain over marion county. you may get another three inches of rain coming up tonight. around belvedere, san rafael, i the south bay. not nearly as much rainfall. with that atmospheric river, one spots gets hit the hardest. 30 and 40 miles away there can in fremont. just a few showers around san jose. the rain is coming. it is not there yet. you can see the orientation of mother nature's fire hose. the sierra, the snow level is 8000 feet. that is high. over the next couple of days, it will drop back down to 4000 feet. additional snow, 36-72 inches. look at these seasonal snowfall totals in the sierra. nearly 400 inches of

about five inches at donner summit but nothing like we saw last week. flow and a few showers and even snow showers firing up as you can see out there and this is all at the higher elevations. by the coast it is dry and will dry out over the peaks as well. this is a beautiful shot as we look at the old section of the bay bridge and a new section of the bay bridge on the other side of what used to be called goat island. the numbers right now we will see temperatures on the chilly side. 41 degrees along the coast and colder yet by the shoreline, about 39 degrees, and influence tomorrow morning it will be down to 20 degrees. the futurecast is showing the remaining showers that we have finally, after what has be wet week in the bay area, will clear out and leave. we have sunshine tomorrow chilly temperatures, but plenty of sunshine. it will be a stunning site. so cold nights ahead and mostly sunny and chilly in the week ahead. the only chance for showers this week, and it is a small one, will be later on wednesday. out of the bay area it will be chilly and s
