here's abigail doolittle.gail: we are looking at very small moves for the major averages ahead of the big earnings season kicking off tomorrow. the dow up slightly, and the nasdaq down slightly. on the week, the dow is down 8/10 of 1%, its worst down week in about three weeks. we have a mixed message there. take a look at the dax, up 3/10 of 1%. not a lot of conviction, but not a risk off picture considering we have german bonds trading lower, but still a negative yield. really pretty remarkable. where we may have a little bit of a risk off cents, let's take a look at oil. european crude trading down in sympathy with wti, down about 0.5%. wti down a bit more after the iea is saying global demand may fall. today, butle bit overall, the risk picture on the day neutral. where we do have some important strength, the banks. let's take a look at the banks in the u.s., being helped out by the 10 year yield, similar to the german bund. treasurers trading lower on the day. the 10 year yield up three basis points at 2.5
