let's take look at ultimate doppler this is over the last 12 hours. we've been talking about that clipper. that has arrived and that really hasn't provide add lot of snow for our area. we talked about how only to expect nuisance activity during the day. the opening act if you will. but energy from that clipper will be transferred to the coast. take a look at earlier in the open waters of the atlantic you can see some lightning. we'll watch some of that convective activity unfold overnight tonight. so watch the clock and watch how this area of low pressure intensifies overnight. but with that said there's going to be a sharp cut off between the heaviest snow in that pink shaded color and also the lesser amounts of snow in that blue across our area. so we're talking totals from two to maybe 16-inches of snow over our entire viewing area. so location is key as well. but for the philadelphia area it look like we'll have a solid six to 10-inches of snow but the higher amounts continue north and east of the city traditionally with snowstorms it's north and
