so let's dig deeper on live early warning doppler 9. there's a concern for strong wind coming out of this. around mcadenville. out of belmont to the daniel steel garden areas. eastern gaston county, this is where the storm starts. it's now working its way over to charlotte mecklenburg airport, excuse me, into the western part of the city. so this is going to cause some significant delays at the airport here momentarily as that line works on through. working its way into the southern part of gaston county, western meck county. south out of lake wiley. a lot of heavy rain, strong wind out of highway 49 out of the steele creek area. i'm concerned for wind damage in lake wiley in steele creek toward the carowinds vicinity. one last stop here further south into tega cay. strong winds are coming on through. not just tega cay but the north side of rock hill. the indian hook community as you work your way around lake wiley, seeing big rain bursts with heavy rain coming through this, let's get back to stephanie for another update of wind damage

it is incredible with the doppler radar. it says it has come down about 1500 feet within the last few minutes. it is not time to sound the all clear yet. we are getting markers on the doppler radar. because of that, we have the concern of seeing some sort of rotation. at the very least, damaging wind from this. after 5:00, a gets over to the launchpad. there is that boeing. when you see that, it is not a rotation concern more than it is backing wind. we do not see bright red as much anymore. backing wind. we are getting this real gust of wind on the backside of these storms, knocking on cocoa' s doorstep. cocoa back towards the kennedy space center. it moves towards the east at about 20 miles per hour. this does hit severe criteria as it works towards the east and northeast. tornado warning in affect for brevard county. we think there are conditions in place to see a tornado touching the ground. look how long this is. there is a nasty line of storms. it is not rotating, but there are plenty of thunder and lightning, lake was
