doug: thanks, matt.hat do you think about this revision and the outlook from the current cbo? doug: these are revised january and the things that stay the same are basically bad news. $7 trillion in deficits over the next 10 years and that drives the debt up to $21 trillion and we see deficits rising in connection to gdp. and what is rising is things like medicare, medicaid the affordable care act, social security. nondefense discretionary spending being held back. and interest has become such a big part of these projections that when we get to 10 years from now, $1 trillion deficit and 800 billion of it is interest on previous borrowing. matt: why is that the case now with rates about as close to zero as you can get everywhere around the world? why can't we borrow money cheaply? doug: what we make up on low price we are giving away in volume. we are borrowing far too much money. that is the real issue. matt: that is amazing with rates as low right? doug: yeah. matt: how could we borrow enough to have 80

is there doug: something you are looking for?ke to see more internal weakness in small caps in the transportation stocks. transportation stocks now after having been outstandingly strong for a couple years, have leveled off in the last three or four months on a relative basis. we would like to see some weakness in the financials. internal weakening within the market itself. lisa: if you think the downturn is coming, how are you hedging against that? doug: we almost always have a quantitative hedge on within our portfolio of some size. we had a quantitative strategy that dates back short to 1991. it is quantitative shorts basically overvalued stocks with weakening fundamentals and weakening relative strengths. we have got a latitude to shift net equity exposure in our portfolio from 30% to 70%, we are at city 5% right now. -- at 55% right now. we will go down to the 30 percent or 35%. we still have a foot in this, respecting the action of the market. betty: you think the bull market is ending you think the markets are overvalued a

doug? >> still seeing snow in parts of the area although a lot of the area starting to see it taper off now. we're just about done with the worst of this storm. let's take a look and show you what's happening outside. storm team 4 radar, all the quite, that's the snow down to the south, southern maryland down towards fredericksburg took a while to change over but once it did it's been snowing heavily down toward this area. you see it back to the west winchester hagerstown just about done with the snow. still snow showers in through loudoun county and out towards montgomery county but along and east of i-95 that's where the bulk of the snow remains. that's where we could still pick up another 1 to 2 inches as far as that's concerned. as the snow continues to lessen in parts of the region look at our rockville camera. here's 355. i've been watching this camera all day. this is the best that 355 rockville pike has looked all afternoon. some very good news there. the main roads will get a littl

doug, what is the word? doug: we can gauge this by checking the rooftop cameras. look at the full screen. we've moved the vantage point here from the rooftop looking southbound towards reagan national airport to the pentagon, it's definitely cloudy and hazy but visiblities are pretty decent and all the drizzle that we had seems to be abating but it's going to take to the overnight early tomorrow to start clear skies out. temperatures will stay chilly pretty much where they are in the mid 30's and maybe drop to the lower 30's in a few spots. i don't think we'll have any icing issues in the metro area. perhaps, if that's to happen, it may be closer to hagerstown and martinsburg and winchester briefly in the morning. tomorrow, nice turn around. this storm will be chased out of here and high pressure will start building in. the way it's configured we'll have southwesterly winds and that's a warm direction. so instead of having highs in the 30's, we're going to have highs tomorrow close to 60. our futurecast shows clearing skies by morning and then we'll have more suns
