i will start with doug burgum. um: the topic you bring up is a very important one and it fits in this broad bucket of home health care. the most expensive way that we can take care of an aging population is to institutionalize them in long-term care facilities. and the most effective way, if they can be safe and well cared for, and most of us who have care for aging parents know they would rather be at home. but what are the methodologies and tools and training that come into play to make sure they are safe and well cared for? in a world of technological change, there are hundreds of new ideas that would allow people to stay in their homes longer and still be well cared for. i agree they are things we can do to train of family members to take care of family members. the best care will always come from somebody who loves the people they are caring for. moderator: to marvin nelson, the same question. nelson: it seems strange you have to pass a law, but clearly, people have not been shown how to provide that care. so,
