maria: doug collins, you've worked on tax policy before. how do you see it? >> well, look, i think the issue is huer is the tax policy that was passed under the trump administration, i think got us through the pandemic in a better way than if we had not passed it. biden's economy is based on a false premise. he benefited from the covid and pandemic before, it was laughable to see talked about a tax plan that was unpaid for. most everything that he has done as president that he claims credit for is unpaid for which is causing these problems in the economy. this is what americans are seeing because it doesn't matter if inflation growth is not 2% or 3% now, it already went up. and it's not going down. so people are seeing that in their paychecks, they're seeing it in their grocery prices and this is just something they can't lie about because people actually see it in their checkbook. maria: it's hard to argue that all of the $6 trillion in bore he rowing that the democrats did did not lead to 40 year high inflation. >> of course. by the way, he's once again usi
