i'm meteorologist doug kammerer.e in storm center 4 we're talking about another gorgeous day out there. today a high temperature of 52 degrees. the current temperature right now 49 degrees. mostly clear skies. winds right now out of the south-southwest at 10 miles per hour. here's what's going on around the region. already down to 37 in frederick. 39 in culpepper. with these clear skies we are going to cool off fairly quickly. so it is going to be quite cool especially in some of the colder suburbs. right now though washington and annapolis still on the mild side of things. that's the way you're going to stay. satellite and radar together showing we have a little bit of a system trying to move through west virginia right now. it did have a few showers associated with it but right now just looking at some clouds to try to move over the region overnight tonight. but those clouds will be out of here by tomorrow. down to about 30 degrees in gaithersburg tonight. 29 in leesburg. 27 in manassas. la plata and waldorf and ot

i'm meteorologist doug kammerer right here in storm center 4 looking at what is going to be happeningthe next couple days. i want to show you what's happening on radar right now. nothing to show you right now across our area but what you can see is what's happening out toward the west. of course we're talking about that big storm out there toward colorado and right now big time rains in through kansas city, missouri, st. louis, now moving in to indianapolis if dan and vance are live tonight at 11:00 they'll probably need the umbrella or at least something over the top of them. look at the severe weather around oklahoma and even around dallas, texas. this is the big storm that will move in overnight tonight into the day tomorrow. best chance of rain will be late during the day tomorrow. looking at temperatures for tomorrow not bad. 49 in washington. 47 in gaithersburg. 48 in manassas. i do think we have a chance for snow. let's show you who has the best chance. this would be back to around i-81 including frederick, winchester, and fort royal but even a small chance of snow around manas
