meteorologist doug kammerer and you've been updating this forecast and things are definitely in flux. most certainly. we'll continue to see temperatures on the roller coaster, so to speak and yesterday close to 70 degrees and we're only in the low to mid-40s and a 25-degree temperature drop and now we'll see the temperatures go right back up tomorrow, but first the rain is going to fall and we're starting to see showers along the region and big traffic delays on 272 and more rain down toward the south and this is all moving towards the north and we'll continue to do so out ahead of this big storm system. this is a monster system. we'll have much more on this coming up in a few minutes and here's the rain and the snow back toward chicago. for us, it will be all rain, but there is some frozen precipitation very close to our area just up to the north and we'll talk much more about that and then it's the temperatures and only in the 40s and 40 in hagerstown and 45, d.c. and still 60 in virginia beach and the warm air moves back in before we finally set in to a colder period. we've got all
