and that doug lafond was the senior civilian adviser to the commander of the 101st in eastern afghanistan and doug was also has a kind of special relationship to petraeus and that doug was the planner of the surge in iraq in 2007 when he was with the first calvary division. so it is great that they are here. and i think if you read the book, i think you'll enjoy the interplay between the dominant character, petraeus and then the secondary characters who are, you know, very, very different and very very interesting and very, very tough battles throughout the year and it's really a brutal board. and you know, writing about and from my vantage point, from a far was really interesting and really buying into me to see the kind of lives they live and be the nonmilitary person, the dedication and devotion in the way kerry cheapest day from people they people they lost there. >> two questions if i could. not having read the book yet, i am wondering what the other the political attack on the general is exemplified by general petraeus, and the other is, could she speak about your cadets experience
