my name is douglas yepp, and i have lived in san francisco to 60 years. before coming here, i was having no choice for these four applicants, but what -- but since it was stated earlier that michael nulty is an alumnus of reardon high school, i say give reardon a chance. in my opinion, there's one school that has influence in san francisco. in regards to this seat, i felt dizzy and important for this city to consider how independent the applicant will be. according to my research, it seems like many people that fill these committees have a very cozy relationship with parts of the city and county in san francisco. and i feel that this might hinder the creative thinking and eventual solutions on these committees. so i think one criteria that should be considered is how independent a committee member would be, because we do not want a system where everybody knows each other, everybody pats each other on the back, and then certain things get done, and then the inhabitants of that area wonder why things turned out the way they did. not only should we consider
