downtown st. petersburg. 76. clearwater you're at 75 degrees. up in new port richey and brooksville both sitting at 78 degrees. and generally running either in the upper 70s or low 80s throughout the interior. dew points showing just amount of moisture in the atmosphere. when these numbers are the 50s, it really feels pretty comfortable outside. that's what we've seen over past several days. a little bit higher as you go along the coastline. mid 60s. still somewhat comfortable outside. so satellite view across the southeast. you're starting to notice more cloud cover. we've had of showers and thunderstorms across northern rim. gulf of mexico stretching back off the coast of texas. this frontal boundary here will slowly work its way on to the east and kind of move some of these clouds and a little bit more unstable air mass over us. so that's where i'm going to see an upparticular and rain chances for but still, this time of the year an uptick we're talking 20 percent chance of a couple showers mainly you're going to see more cloud cover for tomo

downtown st. petersburg, which by the way, the gulf temperatures currently at 69 degrees. clearwater has a 59. you head into bradenton 57 degrees, lakeland is sixty what a change this cold front has made. fronts to our south, and we're running 5, 7, 8, 10, and in some cases 13 degrees colder compared to this time yesterday. that's a nice cold front that moved through. really mainly just drying out the atmosphere. since we're much drier, we cool the temperatures quickly and warm them quickly. that's why we head up into the upper 70s for today. just a little bit cooler than dew points mainly run in the 40s. some 50s along the coastline, and that will give us the comfortable, crisp feel to the air as we go through the morning heading into the afternoon. there's a cold front now down to the south. that continues to push away clearing out the skies. you see the beginning of the loop right here. a few scattered clouds in here and those move out. we have plenty of sun for today into tomorrow. we start to see a few more clouds and the clouds gradually return because the high pressure is back i clouds

downtown area of tampa. pretty, also mild, too. we're at 67 out at the airport. we're 63, new tampa, plant city, brandon. i have upper 60s pinellas park, clearwater, saint pete pete, back to lower 60s further north. dade city, inverness, the only spot on the hourlies now and i'm sure that maybe in little dips and thermometer says 50. 69 degrees in sarasota and inland i got low to mid 60s polk, hardee, de soto, highlands county. great start. dew point numbers measuring that surface moisture. once that front came through late friday into early saturday, it dropped them back in the 50s. that's where they are this morning. as long as they can sit here in the upper 50s or even the lower combine that with about an 83, 84-degree afternoon and while technically that's seasonably warm, several degrees above normal, it will be just as beautiful as it was yesterday in general. high pressure is up here providing us that northeast wind. there's a trough which is basically an elongated area of pressure. not concentrated in one spot. that will be in the middle of the gulf by wednesday. it may come close enough to bring us 20% rain chance but to be honest, that'

downtown tampa. starting out cool here in tampa at 59 chase. along the coastline temperatures are warmer because of the influence of the gulf waters. places like st. petersburg, you're at 62. clearwater has a 60 but you can see you move a little inland and places like palm harbor, 54 degrees which is a little bit off of the coastline, pinellas park is 59 degrees and over in sun city center currently at 56 degrees. we have some 40s to the north, river at 43 degrees. down to the south venice has 57, along with bradenton and sarasota by the way has a little problem with their gauge there. they haven't reported all night long. maybe you just enjoy the weather and take time off. 52 degrees over in lakeland right now, and you can see some upper 50s once you work over into highlands county. what that cold front can do the past 24 hours, look at that. 9, 13, 11, 8 degrees cooler it was a nice, pleasant start yesterday, and now we've got that cool air in place, which is going to be around for a couple of days here. we have that slow, warming trends and the dew points really show the key to all of this yesterday talking about feeling a little more humid. these numbers climb into the 60s, and n
