our michal higdon joins us live from downtown columbia with an update on outages reported there -- michal? as of a couple of hours ago, several blocks around bull street had their power restored after going several hours without it. however, an entire block radius in every direction is blocked from laurel and marion street this morning after a traffic light collapsed from yesterday's high winds. take a look. there are downed tree limbs near the traffic light and one side of it is hanging very close to the ground. one will be able to get near it until crews make repairs. but that's just some of the damage we saw yesterday. there were broken tree limbs that smashed into cars, a home's fence flattened, power lines down and street signs in disarray in other parts of richland county. crews have been busy since -- working to get things back in order. especially sce&g trying to get power restored to customers who lost it when those high winds of single incidents at different homes, so some of those outages will take some more time to repair than, for instance, a large incident where you can get
