he is outside our downtown durham newsroom. joel: let me tell you. let me dispel any notion this is any pretty christmas kind of snowstorm. this is not fun. this is not good right now. this is pellets of sleet blown by a significant when gust. it hurts. it is painful. this is not fun to be out in. that said i got in my car. this is the station on liberty street. it was treacherous and dangerous. take a look. this is liberty street covered in white and sleet. these roads were treated by durham public works crews in preparation for the storm. 300 tons of salt on the road. get these roads clear again. take a look at the sidewalk. i stole one of the rulers. there is one inch of snow on the ground and it is next with that sleet and freezing rain. it is hard. luckily no cars. a few pedestrians, i saw a group of kids come by. they wanted us to give -- they had a stumble on the ice. drive. stay out here. back to you. tisha: all right. where you are. we saw some kids in roxboro having a grand time. steve: they have had more snow south. >> not yet. we will fin
