in the meantime, we're here in downtown oakland.re are nine, ten bus tops here and i can tell you, buses are rolling this morning. we have seen even supervisors out here for ac transit. according to daily riders we just spoke with, bus traffic to them it seems rather light this morning. we don't have official word yet from ac transit on the numbers for this morning, but i can tell you, they say at least 180 riders called in sick each day last week which is twice the usual number. the issue here, the agency is dealing with a $56 million budget deficit over two years and looking for about $15 million in concessions from union workers. negotiations stalled, a contract was imposed on the workers, it landed in court. bottom line, the riders say they're feel like they're caught in the middle. >> it is like a shot, if you're trying to get to work, it is tough explaining to your boss why you're late, especially when your boss has a car, so they won't pay attention. >> union blames management on the delays. the union is trying to push for wo
