that's just horrible trying to get up to downtown oakland.e if there's an obvious cause for this. been a couple of minor things. it's very slow getting up to downtown oakland right now on northbound 880. and if you are driving on southbound 880, that remains slow from about the southern part of hayward all the way down to milpitas. back to the desk? happening right now, work crews in pacifica are busy, they are back out on a beach working to bury the carcasses of two beach whales that recently washed ashore. here's new video. you can see the workers out there starting a second day of their work. they used this big excavator to dig holes on the beach. that's where the carcasses will be buried. now, the whales washed ashore at the beginning of this month and last month. the people who live nearby have been complaining that the smell was unbearable. >> it was tolerable for a while. it wasn't so ugly as some other dying creature or dead creature but it turned from the -- very close to -- question close to rotten -- very close to rotten to rotten.
