descriptions in the "richmond enquirer" they suited themselves up nicely and pranced around downtown richmond. but there was no fund, early on, that that money should go to the benefit of the war effort. or that it should establish credits overseas for the purchase of -- of weapons and other materiel. which is exactly why the confederate government felt that it needed to get involved in this. not only did it require certain percentages of the cargo to carry government owned cotton to get credits overseas so it could buy material to be brought in. but by late 1864, davis actually took over blockade running, the ships were commanded by confederate officers. and, all of that money, by then, of course, very late in the war. all of that money did go to the benefit of the confederate government. but by late 1864, the government was already in trouble financially. the great assistance overseas was through the trenholn and prelow exchange company that advanced credits in liverpool, to the confederate government so they could make those purchases. blockade running, especially in the first, 2, 2 1/2 ye

so warming up pretty nicely along the delta, holding on to the upper 40s for places like richmond and downtownrancisco. as we take a look at what is coming up next, it looks like we'll see the mostly sunny conditions. temperatures are at least at, or if not above the seasonal average. take a live look here as you can see 70s for fairfield and santa rosa and the same goes for sunnyvale. we'll see more coasts alone -- we'll see more sunshine along the coastline. as we head into the middle of the week, we do have some changes to talk about. temperatures could drop by as much as 10 degrees. we do have a slight potential for some rain. in fact, future cast shows 11:00 on tuesday evening we'll start to see a sprinkle right around the santa rosa highway right around 101. and that will blanket the bay area. as we advance the clock into the overnight hours, potentially at 3:00 a.m., you could see a band of rain over the delta area, oakland, portions of the peninsula. but it looks like we will start to dry things out and lift in the way of the cloud cover. so looking ahead, it looks like we will continu
