san francisco, record-breaking warm start to the day. numbers in the mid-80s. 86 officially in downtown. that was a record high. check out san jose briefly cooler than san francisco. then the trend reversing by 4:00. close to 90 in downtown san jose. we did have our own thundershowers come through this morning. beautiful view there in tiberron. brief lightning as it moved off to the mill valley and mostly high clouds after that. the first wave of moisture coming in bringing us a slight chance of showers across the south bay and peninsula this morning. right now we're kind of in between these waves of moisture coming on in. you can see the system responsible, the former area of low pressure which was once hurricane dolores. right now, this little area of circulation off the coast is lifting northward that we think as we go through the evening will bring another chance of seeing some showers from south to north. but our temperatures not really cooling off much at all. by midnight tonight likely still mid to upper 70s around the bay area. wild weather to start the work week. a closer look coming up in a few minutes. >> rob, thanks v
