we're now into the 80s around downtown san jose. still some 90s south of downtown. mid 80s toward gilroy. san jose very interesting. here's the reason why we're getting cooling, not just from the sea breeze. rain falling down from the clouds, some reaching the ground but evaporating which in turn cools the atmosphere. the radar picking up sprinkles which may not reach the ground. but is this a sneak preview of the changes in the weather. more of this cloud cover. the sweep from central california into the bay area which sets us up for a chance of seeing showers as we head into tomorrow. you can see the moisture pretty unusual to see it coming in from the southeast, giving us a chance of showers. so in this case we're replacing the heat adding humidity. may feel uncomfortable over the next 24 hours as we see a chance of showers and possible mountain thundershowers in the forecast. not for the sierra but also here in the coastal mountains around the bay area. we look at the rapidly changing conditions in our full forecast in a few minutes. >> thanks so much rob. >>> to

high temperatures tomorrow near downtown san jose close to 80 degrees, san francisco once again upper0s. for that early afternoon start tomorrow should see numbers close to 70 at the ballpark. for the north bay highs in the mid 70s, for the tri-valley you can see temperatures from about dublin over towards livermore upper 70s to near 80. mild temperatures for now. this is what we will see to start the week still cans of thunder showers north of lake tahoe. by tuesday and wednesday, high pressure building back in that cool trough lifting back off towards the north so valley temperatures i think especially by wednesday and thursday you will see these numbers climbing back up closer to where we should be for this time of year. san jose the average high is about 84 degrees, we should get there by wednesday and thursday but livermore and some of those inland east bay valleys will see those temperatures climb up into the low 90s as we get into thursday staying warm into friday. san francisco maybe briefly close to the low 70s on thursday, wednesday and thursday the warmest days of the week.

and by 3:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon, highs in the low 80s near downtown san jose. a little warmer than today. upper 60s to low 70s for san francisco, with low to mid 80s in the north bay and around the tri-valley you'll see temperatures tomorrow int the upper 80s as we go from a pattern that is mild to start, then a little bit warmer for the middle part of the week. high pressure will strengthen. it will weaken that sea breeze somewhat. still seeing some 60s and 70s closer to san francisco. but we should see 90s becoming more widespread especially by thursday. and that will coincide with the warmest days of the week from the stretch about thursday into friday. san jose now above average temperatures as we head through the second half of the week. and there you see livermore. numbers in the low to possibly mid-90s in a few areas on thursday. san francisco seeing numbers closer to 70 tomorrow and climbing into the low 70s by thursday and friday. but next weekend may turn interesting. we've got some high clouds coming in tonight. but by let's say next saturday and sund
