a crash is causing delays for drivers getting out of downtown washington.s4's megan mcgrath is live near the 14th street bridge now with details. megan, good morning. what's going on? >> reporter: well, good morning, eun. we have a situation an overturned vehicle in the hov lanes. the southbound hov lanes of the 14th street bridge. i'll step out of the way so you can see the activity behind me. they have made progress here in the last few minutes. this car, which was much on its roof, it was actually lying on its roof in the far right lane here, they have actually righted it. it is on its wheels. you see we have two tow trucks on scene, they're working to get the vehicle out of the way. the way it stands, if you're coming around independence avenue, the tidal basin, you'll across the 14th street bridge. you're not going to be able to exit on the southbound hov lanes. the exit is closed. they're not allowing any traffic on the lanes until they get the vehicle out of here. we do have the tow truck on the scene. hopefully it's not going to be too much longer.
