the dph environmental health item. one of the ways we can also move that needle down in our lease hold is to consolidate around service functions. so, i think the most famous of those at this point for all of you, would be the new permitting center as 49 south van ness. something we've been calling project chess over the last several years. as you can see by the photos, it's under construction i'm pleased to say with the final product shown on the right of the screen to be delivered in mid 2020. so we aggregate around permitting. that provides certain economy scale efficiencies in our portfolio and allows us to increase density in buildings and get out of leases. beyond that, we're looking at hub based planning for both fiscal uses at 1155 market, being the hub for that in the future. as we restack our various buildings and portfolio when the new building comes online, that's the permitting center and then a hub around family services at 1650 mission, from which the planning department will vacate and we will back phil

together dph and the state regulate the handling and disposal of animal tissue. saba will comply with these regulations by storing waste and by-products in sealed containers a cooler room before they're picked up by a certified waste hauler. no animal products are disposed of in the regular garbage and you can see here we're talking about a small volume of waste. a container for feathers, a contain foremeat, a container for animal waste. lastly, health and hygiene, saba is regulated by the usda, department of agriculture and dph which enforce standards and conduct regular inspections and testing for hygiene. there is also a state certified inspector on site at all times to monitor both the conditions of the birds and facility. finally, i like to close on a practical note. we're talking about a small shop with 500 chickens on site. this is not at massive agri- business operation, this is not a 10,000 hog farm in north carolina with open air at thes wools of data -- pools of data waste. there is not a single source that addresses small scale operations like saba's.

dan, who is retired but used to work in dph as part of homeless health services made it their personal mission to work with alice every single day until they got her inside. i'm very happy to report that for the first time in three years, she has a home. she has the medical care that she needs and deserved, but i don't understand why it took the supervisors' office and volunteers that were dedicated specifically to alice, to intervene in her life and get her inside. she would have died on the streets if we hadn't intervened. that's just not acceptable. we need to do better. i think the situation at the 16th street bart station is an example of government failing. bart of the city of san francisco not doing our jobs. and i'm glad to see that we have fixed that and that we're going to do what we should have been doing all along, but if we can't keep our transit stations clean and we can't provide services to seniors and homeless people who have mental health and substance abuse, that is a failure of government. it is our job to fix these things and that's what we're doing and going to co
