we're expanding access to non dph teams to epic and we're excited about this because this means that teams like ems6 who provide critical services to people experiencing homelessness who will also have access to that shared care coordination tool set, and this will facilitate better coordination and this is possible because of the groundwork that we've been putting in place for the last several years is data sharing agreements and implementing protocols to allow this information to be shared. next slide, please. our work is positioned us to be a key source of data and specifically attempt to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on people experiencing homelessness and our data infrastructure is built on longstanding relationships and partners between agencies and because we have this data and understand how we're able to use it, we were able to quickly develop a risk assessment methodology based on cdc guidelines enabling us to locate and identify individuals rapidly and individuals who are at high-risk for complications analysis of this has helped inform policy and planning decisions

if your child exhibits any of these covid-19 symptoms, the cdc and dph recommend your child be testedon as possible. in addition, please notify the school front office as it is imperative that students who are showing symptoms stay home and quarantine. so not we're testing. parents, it's on you. >> i think this is a fundamental distraction and unfortunately just not the right messaging from the dph in georgia. we know system-based screening is not enough the younger the individual is. in this case, school-aged children, whether they're 18 or 8, if they're positive and transmitting the virus, they're likely asymptomatic. so searching and screening for something like a fever when you're likely not to have it if you're young is pointless. it should not be the backbone of a return to school strategy. testing, distancing, ventilation -- ventilation is key. chris, nobody talks about ventilation in school districts, especially public schools and inner urban city areas because they can't ensure adequate ventilation. this administration and elected leaders across the country don't talk about t

the mayor's budget introduces an $11 million grant program in dph and do we know what those funds are going towards? >> greg? >> sure, supervisor walton, we are putting together a grant program that is focused on individuals who have made a contribution through the city option program into a medical reimbursement account. we've had a lot of conversations ourselves and through the san francisco health plan that administers the program to help them gimp the circumstances with covid and the dollars for a number of reasons are only available for withdrawal for medical expenses under the tax codes and this is an attempt to use dollars from within the city option program to provide grants to those that can be used for any expense related to what's going on with covid that's not necessarily a medical expense. so it's one of the set of programs that would collec we'v. collectively been working on who are out of work. so up to a $500 grant program for those accounts. >> and those would be administered through the sanfrancisco health plan. >> thank you. and does this budget that is proposed rig
