that is both dph and non dph programs. about 2300 receive methadone for opioid use disorder. nearly 575 residential treatment admissions and about 1100 people used withdraw management services. again 2022 data. we made some-worked hard, i want to acknowledge my team and all dph. worked hard to expand a number of services along this continuum. that work has been enabled by proposition c focusing expanding service for people experiencing homelessness. we worked to expand medications for addiction treatment as well as other high impact treatments. dph expanded access to these medications at key sites by a variety of tactics including increasing hours of operation, increasing staffing and increasing ability to do in community treatment. you can see some of the programs listed on your slide. i do want to acknowledge we have been challenged at times in terms of workforce shortages, which are both a national and local problem. there have been times where expansion is slowed by challenges identifying appropriate numbers of staff. this is true for both dph ourself as well as our contr

also wanted to highlight dph adult immunization and travel clinic is full swing. interest in international travel is recovering. provides preventive consultation vaccine and travel medication prescriptions to persons with all ages going abroad enabling to reduce risk for health (indiscernible) to return home feeling well, and as before i return to department took advaptage of the service i can tell you the care is excellent and staff are superb. finally with regard to covid-19 update as of august 10 san francisco 7 day average of new covid cases per day is 49 and there are 37 people in the hospital with covid. 86 percent of all san francisco residents have been vaccinated and 65 percent received a booster dose. 41 residents received bivalent booster. we are seeing a bit of swell increase of cases boket across the country in the state and across the-and locally as well. this does not compare to the surges that we have seen in the past. there is a new variant that is accounting for increasing proportion of cases diagnosed. thankfully the variant does not appear to-i

we work with dph a lot and doing think burglar what is tsh plus look like. and working with c ph on different health care props to look at behavioral and physical health care within tsh sites to train our nonprofit staff partners. and to bring in that time treatment to the properties. >> in terms of silver living i don't see sober living counter to a housing first approach. funds ammal to housing first is choice. and if somebody chooses to be in the sober living program then we should be making that choice available to them as part of our housing portfolio. i think one thing this we struggled with is having diversity in the housing to meet needs. we are working on a pilot program to -- do a sober living funded in the left budget and putting together the program design now and trying to think how that fits in. now i want to be clear about what sober living when we think the program design is done this is ahead of the game. this is not we want to make sure people don't get evicted for relapse. that is fundamental. but we want to offer a relocation if than i ha
