so first, the community meeting at night, and in which dpw employee will attend on over time. and then, there has to be an entirely unnecessary completely duplicate review by three separate city departments. and then there has to be a public hearing at which individuals of the public will show up, and not knowing that the department has already decided exactly where the estimate is going to go. and then the hearing officer will have to write a report. and then the director will have to issue a recommendation and finally, at the end of this month long process, the department is going to issue a final determination in which it awards the permit, at 1149 prague street. and so, let me tell you that san francisco resident. and i don't think that is a very good use of the department's resources. i don't think that is very fair to all of the people who would show up at the community hearings, and the community meetings not understanding the department has already made its decision and let me add as a tax payer, you know, my thoughts on this and you might as well take my tax dollars o

for the sake of consistency which is that we are waiting for dpw to issue the guidance and we believe that the ordinance applies retroactively to this case. and we would have to continue it in order for dpw to issue its guidance and we can provaoed from there and i don't know in that guidance will require starting again, it would seem so, given that there are additional requirements in the ordinance that don't exist in the prior, and i don't agree that it is predetermined that dpw would grant this permit, under the new ordinance, as miss short clearly stated it is completely additional requirements. and the idea, i think, behind the ordinance is to have the community have more input and make sure that the process is fair, and that there is community input, and that there is communication between at&t and the community, and you know, the reason that we have this ordinance is that because that has not happened in the past and in the community has been rightly incensed about that situation. and so, my intonation would be to do what we did last time and so remind me that we continued it t

going by and we're supportive of vision zero and there's also the pavement funding for the mta and dpw can coordinate on the improvements. for bicycle safety we're identified through the 2009 bike plan and funded the bike plan through the transit stations and through the vision zero large vehicle education campaigns with the bicycle access. the projects proposed there's a number of how often of projects and a significant number of place holders and the project are shown in our embarcadero and the second street will improvements the bicycle upgrades are still working to identify the highest priority location with the prop k funds so there's we've worked out a condition to have mta could you be to the authority board with a list of projects to be delivered with this funding we expect that to happen by the end of the calendar year by the end of 2015 continuing the work in addition to the bike and others work we'll continue to fund the outreach and the education classes we've been funding for the last ten years back to workday and caltrain and station access. continuing with the highlights

that has been a true partnership throughout the city with the arts commission, dpw and sf puc. it is a privately funded project. on december 12th we are exciting that we'll be opening the rehearsal hall which is also a public assembly facility. the san francisco sympathy put $1 million into that facility to get it #3er789d -- permitted for public assembly for rehearsals and performances. the next one is april 30, 2014 , of the seismic upgrade and improvements project. we will actually fully 100 percent complete that job on july 1st, of 2015. in july 2015, the war memorial will relocate back and as well as the sf arts commission. on september 1, 2015, the opera will complete their $18 million improvement project to the veterans building fourth floor which will include two new venues on the fourth floor. these are going to be small venues that we will make available to small arts groups and we do plan to do that in panership with the arts commission again now that they will be in our building. also, on september 1st, the herbs theatre and green room activities will commence follo
